Our Journey
If you believe, ANYTHING can happen!
The year of 2007 marked the ground-breaking movement and vision of Bishop Brent L. Tiggs, Sr. After much prayer and seeking of God’s Word, Pastor Tiggs accepted the call of shepherdship, leaving all guidance in the hands of the Lord. Instructed by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Great Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of God In Christ was birth to fulfill God’s purpose for this time and season. On this journey, many souls have been saved through the manifestation of God’s glory – for we believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Throughout the years of the ministry’s progression, the name of the church became Great Faith Cathedral Church of God in Christ in 2021. In January 2024, Pastor Brent L. Tiggs, Sr. was elevated to Bishop Brent L. Tiggs, Sr.

Great Faith Cathedral is a part of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the United States. The Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC) is a Christian organization in the Holiness-Pentecostal tradition. Rich in history and passionate in our beliefs, the Church has congregations in 112 countries around the world with a mission to seek and save that which is lost.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH - WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
